Noel輕鬆的刷著和弦，加上Liam不可一世的嗓音，不細聽這首歌的歌詞，感覺這首歌似乎是要很輕鬆的感覺。不過仔細聽聽我到覺得挺深挺黑的。

Oasis的歌通常都很有故事，這首也不例外。當時Noel的前妻Meg事業失敗，極度灰心喪志。Noel便以這一首Wonderwall看似粗魯又搞笑的告訴她「同志，您要努力向上別氣餒啊！因為你要當我的 wonderwall 來拯救我，來讓我靠...」
乍聽之下真的是不了解到底是在搞笑還是幹麻，不過如果你懂得Oasis這兩兄弟你大概就能了解Noel的行為其實是很貼心溫暖的。
每天早上去上班時，從出門、走到捷運站、坐車、去學校，還有回家的陸上，總是帶著耳機聽音樂，有時候心情不好就會很想要不停repeat這首歌，一邊聽著這首歌，一邊告訴自己現在就算是與這麼多人處在同一台車裡，其實我也用音樂建立起一座圍繞著我自己的wonderwall了。我想我沒辦法從別人身上找到那座wonderwall，而那不是別人的問題，是我自己早就已經築好很堅固的牆了。oasis的歌有點龐克的感覺，不是樂風像，而是靈魂身處有那股反智、逃離、出世的想法。這是oasis這張專輯成為經典之作的一大原因，很明確的定位以及很深的刻畫自身的想望，對我來說，這首歌確實很有感覺。
但是oasis的mv我覺得都很老梗沒深度，雖然很適合他們，但是玩太多次感覺還真是沒誠意啊XD
